We believe that parental involvement in the reproductive decisions of young people can bring love and support at a time when a teenager may be in crisis about pregnancy, sex, or birth control. Our intent with this project is to offer support, skills, and advice to both adults and adolescents to promote communication that is not only helpful, but fruitful. We care about our young people and want them to seek the help of their parents if at all possible. A pregnancy crisis and subsequent decision has the potential to change the relationship between parent and child—hopefully, for the better!

This site is sponsored by the Abortion Conversation Project (ACP), which is composed of abortion providers and their allies who see the need to support the people who turn to us for help. Although we mostly see people seeking information about abortion, we also refer for prenatal care and adoption services. We know that good decisions are based on good information and good support. Our other projects include www.choicelinkup.com, accurate reproductive information on the Web, Promoting Post Abortion Emotional Health, a public education and professional training initiative, as well as face to face and online conversations about the complexity of abortion. We offer training resources to service providers and information directly to the public.
